Asia Week is the city's largest and most diverse series of cultural events focusing on Asian art from China, India, Japan, Korea, the Himalayas, and Southeast Asia. Asia Week brings together diverse programming and activities hosted by museums, galleries, specialty dealers and auction houses.
Asia Society encourages everyone to take advantage of the special lectures, panel discussions, exhibitions and receptions happening throughout the city, most of which are free and open to the public.
Asia Week highlights at Asia Society Museum include three exciting exhibitions, two artist talks, and a festive Gala Benefit and dinner.

Experience one of the finest surviving Persian manuscripts of all time. This rarely exhibited volume from the 15th century features more than thirty intricately colored and gilded miniatures that illustrate Persia’s national epic, the Shahnamah (Book of Kings).
